PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet for thermal-transfer recording which provides a beautiful recorded image of a high density wherein there is no transfer void. SOLUTION: For this image receiving sheet for thermal-transfer recording wherein an intermediate layer, and an image receiving layer are provided on a base material in order, the intermediate layer is constituted of a layer of which the major components are a hollow particle obtained by thermally expanding a thermally expandable plastic substance, having a particle diameter of 0.1-100 μm, or a hollow particle of a micro-capsule-form hollow polymer having a particle diameter of 0.1-20 μm, and an organic solvent-resistant high polymer. The intermediate layer can be formed by a single layer constitution. |
