PURPOSE: A structure for preventing a short-circuit of a backlight wire in an LCD is provided to prevent efficiently a short-circuit of a backlight wire by forming a wire holder at an output part of the backlight wire, a guide groove at the wire holder, and a main frame rib corresponding to the wire holder. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage wire(28a), a low voltage wire(28b), and a lamp holder(32) are connected to a lamp(30). A lamp housing(34) is formed at the lamp(30). The lamp(30) and the lamp housing(34) are installed on a lower cover(81). A wire holder(100) is inserted into a projection portion(300) of the lower cover(81). The wires(28a,28b) are inserted into both grooves of a U-shaped wire guide of the wire holder(100). The lower cover(81) and a main frame are combined by a screw(20). A main frame rib(200) and the wire holder(100) are faced to each other. A reflective plate(24a), a light guide plate(24b), a diffusion sheet(24c), the second prism sheet(24d), the first prism sheet(24e), a diffusion sheet(24f), a protective sheet(24g), and a liquid crystal panel(50) are laminated sequentially thereon. The laminated structure is combined by a bracket(21) and a screw(20a).
