PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an online sales system for pieces of music which prompts a customer to purchase pieces of music using an online sales system. SOLUTION: A sales server 1 provides a home page related to online sales of musical in response to a request from terminal equipment. When a user of the terminal equipment performs audition, downloading (purchase), or a popularity poll of pieces of music, audition information, download information, or poll information related to these actions is given from the terminal equipment to a ranking server 2. The ranking server 2 determines the popularity order of respective pieces of music on the basis of information obtained from the terminal equipment. The sales server 1 acquires the popularity order from the ranking server 2 and sets selling prices to respective pieces of music in accordance with the popularity order and inserts the selling price of each piece of music and the popularity order in the home page. |
