PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of protecting an optical element attached to a resin frame, and having good heat radiation characteristic. SOLUTION: A metallic heat radiating plate 3 is attached to the backside 2b of the resin frame 2 of an optical pickup device 1, and a raising mirror 6 and a prism 5 attached from the backside of the resin frame 2 are protected. The heat radiating plate 3 includes a spring end plate part 32 formed as a laser diode holding part, and a spring side plate part 33 formed as a photodetector holding part and, by these components, a laser diode 4 and a photodetector 9 fitted in the attaching holes 4A and 9A of the resin frame side are fixed in the states of being pressed by spring forces. The positional shifting of the laser diode 4 and the photodetector 9 is prevented, and heat generated from the laser diode 4 is efficiently discharged to the outside. |
