The invention relates to a process for the production of surfactant granules containing nonionic surfactants and other detergent ingredients in which the solid and optionally liquid ingredients are granulated in the presence of a mixture of nonionic surfactant and a nonaqueous solvent and which is characterized in that the nonaqueous solvent is polyalkylene glycol liquid at 80.degree.C. Granules with a narrow particle spectrum and good solubility are obtained.
