PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head capable of obtaining excellent control characteristics and recording/reproducing characteristics by reducing a deviation of a beam spot shone on an optical disk. SOLUTION: In the optical head having a slider 5 which is attached to the tip end of a suspension 6 in the state that an objective lens 3 is mounted, the slider 5 is turned around the principal point P or its vicinity of the objective lens 3. Preferably, the slider 5 is turned around first and second turning axes 64, 65 which respectively extend in a first direction and a second direction orthogonally crossing each other on the same plane, and the objective lens 3 is mounted on the slider 5 by making the principal point P coincide or nearly coincide with the intersection of respective turning axes 64, 65. |
