PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface-mounted crystal oscillator which is superior in production efficiency. SOLUTION: The constitution of the surface-mounted crystal oscillator includes crystal oscillator housing crystal pieces and IC chip in the container main body with cut-in sinked bottom and designed with steps at sidewalls facing each other, single-end at least of the said crystal piece is fastened firmly together with sinked bottom portion, while double-ends of the said IC chip are done with steps at sidewall.
