PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the connectional systems that translation processing operation in multiple languages can not be performed, while using arbitrary terminal equipment in the conventional technology. SOLUTION: A translation mediating device 100 is connected via a network to a user terminal 200 to be operated by a translation client for inputting the identification information of a documents as a translation target, a translation source language and a translation target language, each of plural translation devices 400-404 for translating the predetermined translation source language to the translation target language by means of computer processing and a file server 300 for storing the document as a translation target specified by the identification information. In this translation mediating device 100, a document, corresponding to the identification information inputted from each of user terminals, is read out of a file server, the translation device for translating the translation source language similarly inputted from the user terminal to the translation target language is specified, the document read out of the file server is transmitted to this translation device, and the translated result from this translation device is transmitted to the relevant user terminal.
