PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that prevents its acoustic components from being detached even when an external force is exerted to a front case and can sufficiently enhance the substantial performance of the acoustic components. SOLUTION: An acoustic component support member 16 supporting acoustic components 15 such as a speaker is fitted to a main board 14 in the portable terminal thereby fixing the acoustic components 15 to the main board 14. When the main board 14 with the acoustic components 15 mounted thereon is contained in a front case 11, a radiation section of the acoustic components 15 and a receiving hole 12 of the front case 11 are communicative via a cushion member. Through the configuration above, when an external force is exerted to the front case 11, the external force deforms the front case 11 but the stress resulting from the deformation does not affect the acoustic components 15 so as to prevent the acoustic components 15 from being detached from the main board 14. Moreover, a front air chamber in front can be provided to the acoustic components 15.
