PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video unit system capable of recording and regenerating automatically. SOLUTION: A video unit system 1 has an imaging camera 2 and a video image reproduction device 3. The reproduction device 3 comprises a keyboard 7 inputting a specified date and time, a timepiece 6 clocking the present date and time, a memory part 5 recording an image captured by the camera 2 operated during a first time periods responding to the date and the time inputted by the keyboard 7, a monitor 4 displaying the image recorded in the memory part 5 during a second time periods responding to the inputted date and time, a person detecting sensor 9 for imaging which detects a person in an imaging area of the camera 2, a person detecting sensor 10 for reproduction and a controller 8 controlling throughout those means.
