PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve magnetic sensitivity of a sensor, obtain high output, restrain instability of head output and output asymmetry, base line noise, etc., and stabilize characteristic of the sensor. SOLUTION: On a substrate 1, free side ferromagnetic layers 9, 10, fixed side ferromagnetic layers 5, 6, 7, nonmagnetic spacer layers 8 sandwiched between both of the ferromagnetic layers, an antiferromagnetic layer 4 which is adjacent to the ferromagnetic layers 5, 6, 7 and fixes the direction of magnetization of the ferromagnetic layers 5, 6, 7, a nonmagnetic rear part layer 11 which is adjacent to the ferromagnetic layers 9, 10 and laminated on the side opposite to the spacer layer 8, and an electron reflecting layer 12 which is adjacent to the rear part 11 and laminated on the side opposite to the ferromagnetic layers 9, 10, are laminated and formed. |
