PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the normal operation of a wavelength locker even when the temperature of a wavelength filter constituting the wavelength locker is changed due to the heat of an outside field in an optical semiconductor module having the wavelength locker. SOLUTION: An optical semiconductor module having a wavelength locker formed in a package main body is provided with a heat transmitting member for thermally connecting a laser diode to the package main body.
