PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a case where a base metal powder is used as a metallic powder in a paste for external electrode of a laminated ceramic capacitor, the base metal powder may be oxidized during baking of the external electrode during re-oxidization and the electric resistance of the laminated ceramic capacitor increase, and a chip-like laminated body is difficult to be oxidized in an optimal condition. SOLUTION: A base metal powder in a paste for external electrode is coated with a glass. As the glass for its sake, for example, a B-Si (-Pb)-based glass, a Zn-Sn-Si-based glass, a P-Si-based glass, a glass containing Si as a base, an alkaline metal (Li, Na and K), an alkaline earth metal (Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba), a metallic element (Bi, As, Se, Te and S) or the like can be used.
