PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese inputting system capable of simplifying the character inputting operation of a portable terminal. SOLUTION: A key input counting means 40 is provided with a counter for counting the use frequency of a character read by the operation of a digit key 13 and displayed on a display part 11 for each digit key and for a plurality of character assigned to a single digit key each. When the character displayed on the display part is certified by a user, a control means 60 changes the order of the registration of the characters registered in a character information registering means 50 into the order of the value counted by the key input counting means 40. |
