<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for hospital reservation by portable telephone Internet connection which makes it possible to reserve a medical consultation at a hospital through a portable telephone set connected to the Internet and enables the portable telephone bearer to check reservation information according to need. SOLUTION: A database server 5 manages and stores hospital data. A WAP- adaptive portable telephone set 1 can be connected to the database server 5 on an intranet 4 in the hospital 7 through a radio and carrier network section 2 and the Internet 3 connected thereto. Further, attending doctor data are registered and updated in the database server 5 from a terminal 6 connected to the intranet 4.</p> |
