PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the influence of streamed noise imposed on an incoming frequency band from each subscriber's house while utilizing a CATV without changing cables. SOLUTION: A signal inputted from an output terminal OUT is branched by a 1st transformer T1 and a 2nd transformer T2 and outputted from a branch terminal BR. In such a case, a branch output is outputted from the branch terminal BR through a band elimination filter BEF. Therefore, when a measuring instrument is connected to the branch terminal BR, the streamed noise from the subscriber's house can be measured without being affected by an incoming signal.
