An elevator control device (27), comprising a radiating fin device (33) having heating parts (35) mounted thereon and a cooling fan (34) forcibly air-cooling the radiating fin device (33), which are contained in a longitudinally thin case (31), wherein the cooling fan (34) is disposed so that a rotating shaft (34a) thereof extends in the direction perpendicular to a fin mounting surface (31a) of the case (31), and a ventilating passage is formed by a ventilating duct (36) between the radiating fin device (33) and the cooling fan (34).
