PURPOSE: An agent for treating and reducing nocturnal enuresis containing Ephedrae Herba root extract as an effective component is provided, which has almost no side effects and high treating effects. CONSTITUTION: The titled agent contains Ephedrae Herba root extract as an effective component. For an example, 8 to 40g finely cut Ephedrae Herba root is added with water, heated for 100 to 200 min and filtered. In clinical testing on patients, it shows remarkable effects(77.6%) such as complete recovery or improvement in symptoms.
