<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent card which can be seen through and conforms with the international standard and the domestic standard of the card and further, enables mechanical reading of ATM, CD and the like. SOLUTION: This transparent card comprises two pieces of transparent center core 11, a transparent oversheet 12 laminated on the outer face of the center core 11 and a printed layer 13 which is formed between the layers of the center core 11 and the oversheet 12 and contains character/ image information. The center core 11 includes a material which absorbs light with wavelengths of 550 nm or more and 1,000 nm or less and it is arranged so that the entire card shows 1.0 or more light transmission density of the light with the described wavelength and 1.0 or below light transmission density of the light with a wavelength of 400 nm or more and 550 nm or below. The printed layer 13 is formed on a face 21 mm from the upper part of the card and a face 10 mm from the lower part respectively. Thus the light transmission density of the light with a light wavelength of 400 nm or more and 1,000 nm or less in a region formed on the described faces is 1.5 or more.</p> |
