PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intelligible method solving problems and instantly evaluating an animation in an evaluation method for an animation display on a display which is apt to be a subjective evaluation and hard to be understood realistically. SOLUTION: An image pattern having a plurality of regions, in which, at least, one of tones and colors are different, is displayed on a screen. The animation display on the display is evaluated by the length of tailing generated in moving the image pattern on the screen.
