摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-load setting method for a roller bearing device accurately setting the pre-load amount in a short time when setting the pre-load to the roller bearing device. SOLUTION: Piezoelectric elements 22 and 25 are arranged in series relative to a third member 15a and a feed member 27 axially pushing the third member 15a, and respective components of the roller bearing device 20 are vibrated based on the electric energization to the piezoelectric elements 22 and 25. The third member 15a is press-fitted in a first member 12 by the feed member 27, while measuring the resonant frequency of the roller bearing device 20. When the press-fitting works to the third member 15a is completed with the resonant frequency approximately accorded with the preset frequency, the axial load from the feed member 27 is detected, and when the change in the load becomes abruptly small, the feed speed of the feed member 27 is changed over from the high speed to the low speed.</p>
