PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel carriage capable of being reliably traveled without colliding with a skid via non handle action free from factors such as the abrasion of tires when escaping from the skid. SOLUTION: This travel carriage is provided with distance sensors 25 arranged at four corners at the front and rear of a vehicle body to detect the skid located at a fixed distance from the vehicle body side face and a travel mode selection section 39 selecting the travel mode determining the steering angles of individual wheel devices according to the detection signals of the distance sensors 25. The steering angles of the wheel devices are calculated based on the travel mode selected by the travel mode selection section 39, and the wheel devices are turned based on the steering angles of the wheel devices. The travel mode is selected when the distance sensors 25 are operated, the target steering angleθis determined by the travel mode to change the steering angles of wheels 14, thereby the travel carriage can be prevented from colliding with the skid. |
