PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device capable of activating a function of an audio device connected to the area name of an own car position without undergoing a process of resetting the function of the audio device to connect it to the area of the own car position each time a driving route is set. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation device is stored with a first table in which area names are connected to genre names in such a manner that one genre name is connected to a plurality of adjacent areas and a second table in which each genre name is connected to one function of the audio device. A genre name corresponding to the area name of the own car position is retrieved in the first table, and a function of the audio device corresponding to the retrieved genre name is retrieved in the second table. The audio device operates based on the retrieved function. |
