PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the steering operability when traveling at a low speed, to improve the controllability, and to restrict the excessive steering of a steering wheel in the condition that wheels are floated when quickly accelerating with the compact structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: This steering damper system has a cylinder 1 fitted to one of a steering wheel and a car body and a piston rod 3 fitted to the other of the steering wheel and the car body and for partitioning inside of the cylinder into two oil chambers A and B while sliding inside of the cylinder 1. A flow capacity adjusting valve 7 for adjusting the flow capacity of the hydraulic fluid flowing in a bypass oil passage 6 is provided on the way of the bypass oil passage 6 for connecting the two oil chambers A and B to each other. The control hydraulic pressure corresponding to the rotating speed of a wheel 9 is supplied to the flow capacity adjusting valve 7 by a hydraulic pump 11 to be driven by the rotating force of the wheel 9. |
