PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicles that can make uniform hot water flow rate, make uniform the temperature distribution of a heater core, and hence improve air-conditioning feeling. SOLUTION: This air conditioner for vehicles is composed of an inlet side tank that is connected to a plurality of tubes being arranged in parallel, an outlet side tank for discharging hot water through the tubes, and a corrugate fin, and is provided with inlet piping for supplying hot water to the inlet side tank and the outlet piping for discharging hot water to the outlet side tank. The air conditioner is also provided with a heater core where tube length is set in steps so that the length of the tube being arranged at a side closer to the inlet piping 5 and the outlet piping 6 is longer than the tube being arranged at a side closer to the other end side from the inlet piping 5 and the outlet piping 6.
