PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope device capable of performing an observing work in accordance with observation conditions, and also, capable of easily switching the observation conditions. SOLUTION: As for the microscope body 1 with a visible light optical system for performing a visual observation by a lens barrel binocular part 8 and an ultraviolet light optical system for observing the image picked up by an ultraviolet light observation TV camera 15 on a monitor 54 of a computer 53, by clicking 'REMOTO ON+UV' or 'REMOTO OFF+BF' displayed on the control panel of the monitor 54, the visual observation by the binocular part 8 is switched to the observation of the image picked up by the ultraviolet light observation TV camera 15 on the monitor 54, and vice versa.
