PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure gas bearing device preventing the excess floating in the thrust direction in the high speed rotation or when the rotation speed is abruptly changed. SOLUTION: A dynamic pressure generating groove 1A pressurizes gas from the fixed end side of a shaft body 1 toward a first pressure regulation hole 3B, and a second pressure regulation hole 2C is formed in a position opposite to the upper end 1B of the shaft body 1 in a cylindrical face of a sleeve 2. In a regular rotation, the first pressure regulation hole 3B is opened, and when being excessive floating, the second pressure regulation hole 2C is opened, so that the further excessive floating is prevented so as to provide a safety rotation.
