PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installing workability of an injector by a screw nut. SOLUTION: The injector has a snap ring in an intermediate part, and is fixed by the screw nut 4 threadedly engaging with a cylinder head 2. The screw nut 4 is constituted by being divided into two parts of a pair of nut members 41 and 42 by a dividing surface running in the lengthwise direction, and a knock pin 9 and a positioning hole fitted to this knock pin are arranged on respective mating surfaces. The screw nut 4 is dividedly worked after working a screw part 4a in an outer peripheral part of a work preformed in an almost cylindrical shape, and a spacer 7 for compensating for a cutoff margin is inserted between the mating surfaces. The two nut member 41 and 42 are combined so as to sandwich the injector, and then, are screwed in the cylinder head be easily assembled.
