PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a W/O-type emulsified cosmetic free from oily feeling and stickiness, excellent in spreadability and glossiness, and giving moist feeling, smoothness, plainly feeling, refrigerant and fresh feeling when applied on the skin or the hair, and having high safety, excellent storage stability and excellent durability in cosmetic effect. SOLUTION: The W/O-type emulsified cosmetic contains an oily base material (A), an emulsifying agent (B), an emulsifying auxiliary (C) and water (D). The cosmetic has the following features: (1) the oily base material component (A) comprises a linear silicone oil in at least 30 wt.%; (2) the emulsifying agent component (B) is at least one kind selected from polyether-modified silicone copolymers having a specific structure; and (3) the emulsifying auxiliary component (C) is at least one kind selected from the group of specific esters homogeneously soluble in the oily base material component (A).
