PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory capable of being executed at a temperature range of >=200 deg.C and to provide a method of executing the same. SOLUTION: The monolithic refractory contains 75 to 96.5 mass % alumina and/or spinel raw materials, 3 to 20 mass % magnesia raw material having particle sizes of <=1.0 mm and 0.3 to 5 mass % sodium silicate. The method of executing the monolithic refractory comprises transferring the monolithic refractory using a hose or a piping by compressed air, adding water by a water- adding device provided at the tip end, kneading and pouring the kneaded material into a body to be executed, being heated to a temperature of >=200 deg.C or kneading the monolithic refractory and water using a mixer, then transferring the kneaded material using the hose or the piping by compressed air and pouring the kneaded material into the body to be executed, being heated to a temperature of >=200 deg.C or after kneading the monolithic refractory and water, transferring the kneaded material using the hose or the piping by compressed air, adding a cure-accelerating agent by a spraying nozzle provided at the tip end and spraying the monolithic refractory onto the body to be executed, being heated to a temperature of >=200 deg.C. |
