SLIDE TYPE GATE VALVE FOR POWDERY AND GRANULAR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inside contamination of a slide type gate valve for powdery and granular material. SOLUTION: An opening slot 16 (refer to Fig.7) is vertically formed in the lengthwise upper part of each of pipes 17 and 18; the lower end part of each of guide rails 14 and 15 is fixed by being inserted into the opening slot 16 from the upper side and fitted into the pipes 17 and 18; the pipes 17 and 18 are fixed in the inside regions of a front frame member 42 and a rear frame member 43 by being spaced at a predetermined distance, respectively; air purges 119 and 120 are connected to the tip parts of the pipes 17 and 18; slits 21 and 22 are longitudinally formed in each of the pipes 17 and 18; the air is spouted toward the upper side and the like and thereby, inside contamination can be prevented by blowing off powdery and granular material such as a bolt and the like even if they deposit inside; and the exhaust of the air cylinders 5 and 6 is effectively used for feeding the air.
