PURPOSE: Provided are a godet roller for a dry type spinning device and a dry type spinning method using that which are characterized by having excellent surface fire-retardancy, heat resistance and chemical resistance, being possible to produce grey yarn of high quality, and having excellent workability. CONSTITUTION: The godet roller for the dry type spinning device is as follows: many longitudinal grooves(11) formed on a surface of the roll at equal intervals; many holes(12) formed on the inside of the grooves(11) at equal intervals; and a hollow part formed on the center of the roll and communicated to the holes(12) and a special vacuum apparatus. Vacuum level given to the godet roller is 1-50%.
