<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber thread with excellent repulsion resilience and a golf ball using the same by reducing the snap of the rubber thread in a winding process. SOLUTION: This rubber thread composition for the golf ball contains 0.5-7.0 pts.wt. sulfur and 0.5-5.0 pts.wt. vulcanization accelerator for 100 pts.wt. rubber components composed of either or a mixture of polyisoprene rubber, natural rubber and polybutadiene rubber. The cis-1,4 bond content of the rubber component is 90.0-93.8%, and the sulfur content is higher than the vulcanization accelerator content.</p> |
