PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve coating capacity at the time of forming a coated area and a non-coated area alternately on the surface of a sheet. SOLUTION: The coating device is provided with plural sets of coating heads 13 arranged with a proper interval along the advancing direction of a sheet travelling passage R and a controller 14 for giving a control signal (a), to each coating head 13, for moving plural sets of the coating heads back and forth in turn and the coating region A is coated along the sheet travelling direction with plural sets of the coating heads 13 in turn by allowing plural sets of the coating heads to approach to or separate from alternately.
