PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a small noise. SOLUTION: A stencil printer 1 comprises a housing 2, a plate cylinder provided in the housing, a first opening 7 and a second opening 17 provided at the housing, a sheet feeder 8 provided in the first opening, a delivery 18 provided in the second opening, a first cover 16 covering the first opening and the feeder, a second cover 33 covering the second opening and the delivery, a sound absorber 20 provided in a printing sheet conveying route for communicating with the feeder, a printing unit and the delivery, and an air distributing means 30 for forming a flow of the air in the second cover covering the delivery. In this case, the distributing means 30 has a filter 35 for recovering a paper dust. A noise radiated from the cylinder is enclosed therein to be effectively absorbed, thereby reducing the noise of the printer. Thus, paper arrangeability of the delivery is improved, and the dust can be removed. |
