PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for an X-type motor-driven gun, by which the assembling and the maintenance of a power transmission mechanism are easy by blocking an opened surface at the rear end of a main body case by an attachable and detachable back plate although it is the X-type motor-driven gun whose drive part main body is short and is set to be compact, whose handling is easy and it has workability. SOLUTION: This is the motor-driven drive device for the X-type gun, which is constituted so that the opened surface of the rear end of the main body case 13 of the motor-driven drive device is closed by an attachable and detachable tabular back plate 14, the back plate is arranged between a motor and the main body case side, a toothed wheel 20 is supported in cantilever by extending the rear end part of the thread shaft 18 of the screw arranged by offsetting to a motor, and a driving power is transmitted between the toothed wheel 20 and a toothed wheel 17 provided on the output shaft 16 of the motor.
