PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a conventional ink drop ejector being driven with a drive pulse having a period based on an integer times of AL when a single super drop is formed of a plurality of subdrops that subdrops are not combined easily during flight to form a deformed image and that a drive circuit is costly. SOLUTION: When the ink drop ejector is driven with such a waveform as the pulse width (period) of the negative voltage of a drive pulse for flying subdrops is shorter than an integer times of AL, a plurality of subdrops are combined during flight without fail and a pixel of intended density and gray scale can be formed. |
