PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of quickly performing reaction such as reception of an order even in a shortage of workers and providing a service acceptable by customers, in a restaurant for providing a service to customers. SOLUTION: This service robot 1 is provided with a traveling part for movement a condition detecting means for detecting a surrounding condition, a position detecting means for detecting the current position, a control means for driving the traveling part on the basis of signals from the condition detecting means and the position detecting means so that it may reach a target position, and a menu box 10 for providing articles after reaching the target position in a state where the articles such as glasses 16 and a service menu 15 are held. A head part 2 is provided with a display screen 5 for displaying an image on the front surface.
