PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a provision such that even if a special game is being performed, abilities of a player are required. SOLUTION: A variable winning device 10 includes variable winning ports 15a, 15b on its left and right sides respectively. In an open/closure round during the operation of a special game, a comparison value of number of winning balls such as the ratio of the number of winning balls x/y between the ports 15a, 15b or the difference (x-y) in the number of winning balls between the ports 15a, 15b is adopted as a decision condition in a predetermined advantageous form related to the profit of a player; therefore, during the operation of the special game, the player is required to put winning balls as far as evenly into both the ports 15a, 15b and hence the player has to shoot balls into both the ports in a well-balanced manner, and hence a difference in obtained profits occurs depending on the skill of the player and the skill of the player is tested.
