<p>The invention relates to an installation for manufacturing various tightly sealed packages (70) detachably secured to a display carrier strip (18), which comprises a bagmaking device (12) for forming a package preform configured to receive a product, a sealing station (50) neighboring the bagmaking device (12), the sealing station (50) comprising some sealing jaws (52) for forming a transverse seal across the preform to form a top seal of filled package extending below the sealing station (50) and a bottom seal of the package to be filled and which extends above the sealing station (50), characterized in that it further comprises a strip driving mechanism (3) for feeding the sealable carrier web (18) to a location adjacent the sealing station (50) and at least a seal bar (62) detachably securing an end of each package to the carrier display strip (18) simultaneously with the sealing of an end of the package by the sealing jaws (52,53) so that the filled and sealed packages (70) are secured to the carrier dispaly strip (18) and can be removed therefrom without damaging the sealed condition of the packages. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing such packages.</p> |
