PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of primary water spraying quantity onto removed sand in which the device therefor can be miniaturized and simplified and the number of inputs into a microcomputer is reduced accordingly and the reliability of a control unit can be improved. SOLUTION: This control method of the primary water spraying quantity onto the recovered sand, comprizes a first process for calculating the average value of the total water spraying quantity not less than the least three batches, a second process for storing the calculated average value, a third process for calculating the primary water spraying quantity so that a primary water spraying quantity ratio is in the target range as the total water spraying quantity to this average value, a fourth process for storing the calculated primary water spraying quantity and a fifth process for performing the water spraying control by outputting a control command to a primary water spraying control means.
