PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing method of a curtain and equipment thereof by which wave-shaped folds are thermally formed on the foot or near foot of a curtain in a hung state of the curtain to provide a beautiful outlook when hung, doing without a high pressure processing kettle and a vacuum pump, with productivity of the curtain upgraded. SOLUTION: Regular zigzag folds are formed by hanging the curtain K in which sewed folds are formed on the top part, pushing a large number of backside folding tools 32 and front side folding tools 49 in an engaged state which are lined with a fixed interval in a lateral direction on the lower part of it, and pulling downward the front and back side folding tools 32, 49. Superheated steam is sprayed from a steam spray nozzle 35 on the foot or near the foot of the curtain K to thermally fix the folds in a wave shape.
