PURPOSE: A solenoid valve in an anti-lock brake system is provided to install conveniently and cut down expenses by fixing a coil assembly in an end of the valve assembly directly. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve(31e) of a valve assembly(31) is inserted forcibly to an assembling hole of a bobbin(32b) in a coil assembly(32), and the coil assembly is fitted to the sleeve owing to the bore of the assembling hole smaller than the diameter of the sleeve. The end of a valve core(31d) is inserted to a bore processing part(21) of a modulator block(20), and press-fitted with caulking. A lead wire(32c) is exposed through a guide groove to a side of a case(32d). A circuit board(12) is installed in an upper part(11a) of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) housing(11), and electrically contacted to the lead wire through a connecting wire(14). The modulator block is combined conveniently and firmly with the ECU housing firmly by tightening a bolt(13). A solenoid valve(30) and the ECU housing are combined with the modulator block by fixing the coil assembly directly in the sleeve without frictional noise owing to no clearance between the coil assembly and the sleeve.
