PURPOSE: A preparation apparatus of a lithium ion polymer battery and its preparation method are provided, to weld the gas path of the battery after the residual gas of a receiving part is removed by using a vacuum chamber, thereby preventing the deterioration of the performance of a battery. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an electrode assembly body comprising a cathode plate, an anode plate and a separator; a vacuum case comprising a gas path, a gas room and a receiving part of the electrode assembly body; a vacuum chamber(31); a welding machine(45) which is placed within the vacuum chamber, and welds the gas path; and optionally a boring machine which bores the gas room. The method comprises the steps of putting the battery assembly body in the receiving part of the battery case and sealing up it with a cover; charging and discharging the electrode assembly body; putting the battery case into a vacuum chamber; welding the gas path of the battery case in the vacuum chamber; and taking the battery case out of the vacuum chamber and removing the gas room.
