摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, in which a liquid crystal can be dripped with a quantity most suited for respective substrates, with respect to the method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device, using the dripping injection method. CONSTITUTION: In a dripping injection step, in the case of manufacturing two liquid crystal display panels with division of one glass substrate 80 into two panels, for example, describing two CF(color filter) substrates 82, on which post spacers are formed, as A plane and B plane respectively as shown in figure, heights of the posts at a plurality of points (five points expressed by numerals 1-5 in the example shown in the figure) in the respective A and B planes are measured with a laser displacement detector 84 and an average value is obtained. In this way, the height of the post spacers is measured beforehand, and the quantity of the liquid crystal to be dripped is controlled based on the measured value.
