PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize sealing performance on the cylinder block side and the cylinder head side, to uniformize bearing pressure around a combustion chamber hole 5 and to reduce cost in comparison with a conventional one. SOLUTION: This cylinder head gasket 1 is provided with a first outer plate 2 having a grommet part 11 with the inside formed as a combustion chamber hole 5; a second outer plate 3 overlapping the first outer plate; and a thickness adjusting member 13 disposed in a folded portion of the grommet part. The second outer plate is disposed radially outside of the grommet part, and the first outer plate is provided with a full bead part 10 overlapping a full bead part 12 of the second outer plate.
