METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SHORT MESSAGE OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a short message of a mobile communication system is provided to easily transmit the short message through an editing of a received short message stored in a memory in case that the received short message is transmitted to other people by storing the short message in a memory. CONSTITUTION: A user of a mobile communication terminal selects a short message service in a service menu of the mobile communication terminal for using the short message service(301). The user selects an instruction for reading a received short message(302). The user judges whether correcting content exists in the received short message read from a memory of the mobile communication terminal(303). If the correcting content exists in the received short message, the user corrects the short message(304). If a send button is pushed, the short message transmitted from the mobile communication terminal is transmitted to a short message service center through a BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem) and an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(305). The short message service center processes the short message according to the request of the user.
