PURPOSE: A trunk route billing method in an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is provided to offer transparency to the charging of a mobile call by generating billing for an associated trunk route in case that an MSC is worked together with another MSC or an MSC in another network. CONSTITUTION: If an outgoing request is recognized(ST11), an MSC combines an outgoing route type with a prefix billing type to determine a billing type(ST12). The MSC compares the billing type with a call release type. If the compared type is a billing data non-creation type, the MSC does not create billing data. However, in case that the compared type is a complete call route billing data creation type, the MSC creates route billing data for a complete call. Also, in case that the compared type is an all call route billing data creation type, the MSC creates route billing data for all calls, including an incomplete call(ST13).
