PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely absorb an impact of a piston rod even if a stroke of the piston rod is short. SOLUTION: A piston 15 on which the piston rod 16 is fixed is stored in a cylinder tube 11 so as to reciprocate freely in the axial direction in a cylinder chamber 14. Spring receive sleeves 21, 22 are arranged in opposition to the piston 15 so as to approach and leave the piston 15 and move freely in the cylinder chamber 14, and compression coil springs 25, 26 in contact with the spring receive sleeves 21, 22 are arranged therein. When the piston rod 16 approaches a stroke end, an impact of the piston rod 16 is absorbed by the compression coil springs 25, 26.
