PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shaft-direction force generated by a balancer device. SOLUTION: The torsional directions of helical gears of a second gear 34 and a third gear 32 are so defined that the first shaft-direction force generated in a balancer shaft 22 by the rotation of the second gear 34 and the second shaft-direction force generated in the balancer shaft 22 by the rotation of the third gear 32 act in the opposite directions to each other.
